September '95 Michael Sheridan began to collaborate with Veronica Guerin
on a screenplay: the story of a woman journalist who takes on the crime
bosses of the Dublin underworld.
John
Horgan who produced such a wonderful biography on Sean Lemass two years
ago now turns his hand to one of the most controversial figures of mid-twentieth
century Irish Politics, Dr. Noel Browne.
Many
people will remember that photograph in Derry when Edward Daly was seen
carrying a bloody white handkerchief and a wounded citizen across the danger
zones on that day that became known as Bloody Sunday.
