These brass pieces are hand-etched by artists in beautiful West Cork in the south of Ireland. They use an ancient silk screen etching technique, reminiscent of the Celts and their rich knotwork designs. These brass etched items make ideal gifts.

Brasswork

Cead Mile Failte PlaqueCead Mile Failte Plaque

This brass Ceád Míle Fáilte plaque is beautifully handmade in Cork, Ireland, and is ideal as an Irish housewarming gift. The plaque is a thin plate, measures about 7.5 by 1.5 inches and comes with 4 little screws to attach (and detach!) it to the door. The edges of the plaque are covered with exquisite Celtic knotwork.

Celtic Knotwork BookmarkCeltic Knotwork Bookmark

This Celtic bookmark in brass consists of 5 Celtic knots, each intertwined and linked to the next. The Celtic knotwork etched on this bookmark is raised, so it stands out in a gold colour again the brown brass of the background. The edge of this Irish bookmark is also polished brass with a gold look and there is a silky green ribbon tied on the top of the bookmark. It is backed with crushed suede.
