The Bodhrán is a very old traditional Irish drum made from goatskin wrapped around a wooden frame. It is played with a double ended beater called a Cipin. Now with over 100 hand painted designs that are painted on the bodhrans, not only do you get a beautifully painted design, but also a quality musical instrument which will last a lifetime.

Instruments

Tin Whistle
The Clare Tin Whistle has been around for quite a while. Originally it was a toy for children of the nineteenth century. It would still have been a toy today if it wasn't for the efforts of some traditional Irish musicians who showed that this very basic and portable piece of equipment could be turned into a proper musical instrument. It is very well suited to the playing of traditional tunes from many countries. This whistle is in the key of D.

Bodhran
Steáfán Hannigan is a well regarded musician, teacher and producer with his own world –Celtic group Sin É, and has over 50 recordings under his belt. He tours extensively in the U.K., Europe and North America working and recording with musicians including chart toppers such as Bjork, Depeche Moded, rap outfit Marxman, and Jazz Crossover group Lammas. He has also played with many of the top names in the Folk world such as the Band of Hope, Show of Hands and Eileen McGann. He also has more recently worked with top dancer/Choreographer Michael Flattley of Riverdance fame.
